Eyup Dogdu was born in 1978 in Istanbul. His career as photographer began in 1994 at working in photography lab.

For a while, he worked as a freelance photojournalist.

He graduated in 2001 with a B.A degree in Philosophy from Istanbul University.

Since 2002, he has been working as a fashion photographer.
